…not unlike a detuned radio blending several signals together at once. This radio is my brain, and these songs are the signals leaking through the static.
Clearing out some old notes and found this card from a Nels Cline lecture at Music University back in 2013: “Show up on time and have your stuff work.” Nels Cline He was speaking in the context of being a studio musician but pretty good advice for just about any gig (especially public speaking).
Better a list of CDs I keep in my car, or tapes I keep in my locker. Alas, portable music tech isn’t as hip as it used to be.
I don’t eat hamburgers for breakfast and I don’t want to hear Pink Floyd north of noon. Pink Floyd after midnight but before going to sleep is acceptable but should be used sparingly.
I know that you don’t have to buy that many grapes at once.
